Good Carma

I am quite sure that this phrase in reference to Carma Erickson-Hurt has been overused because it's so true. I just seemed appropriate here so I couldn't help it. You know those people you meet in life that you are immediately drawn to... their energy, their light, their interaction with the world... well she is one of them! I had the pleasure of first meeting Carma when she was still in the Navy back in 2005. We worked on a project together at the TNI hospital in Band Aceh Indonesia post tsunami where we were helping the Indonesian military set up a pediatric ward for the first time. She is a great leader, a great clinician and has a firm but joyous way about her. I am so thrilled to have reconnected with her and hope this will be a long lasting friendship and professional partnership. She is just someone you want to emulate and I am proud to know her!
